Christmas Night(Updated)
Varren grabbed his duster on the way out of the door. It was present day in New York, and Christmas, at that. Beautiful, in his opinion, when the snow danced around the streetlights and everything had that festive spice to it. Back home, they didn't have that luxury.
The woman at the front desk gave him a smile. He flashed one in return- The Christmas Spirit was getting to him, it seemed. Walking out of the hotel, his boots crunched softly against the snow, as snowflakes landed on his shoulders and collected on his hair. What a sight for sore eyes as he took a drink from his flask.
